Chart files

Drop a PDF or PNG chart on a song (ForScore-style) so band members with download access can view and download it. Alpha testers.

Chart files is how you attach a PDF or PNG to a song — the ForScore-style chart you'd already put on a tablet — so the band can grab the original from the song page.

This is an alpha feature. Same family as the other Alpha settings: it only shows up for the alpha-tester group, under Settings → Alpha testing, and only on the band you turn it on for. If you're not in that group, you won't see the toggle and you won't see a Charts tab. Nothing is teased.

This is not the ChordPro download. ChordPro is a generated lyrics-and-chords file from Download on the song, and it's always on. Chart files is an attached PDF or PNG you drop yourself.

Turn it on

  1. Go to Settings → Alpha testing.
  2. Toggle Chart files on for this band.

It applies to that band only. Turn it off the same way.

You need to be in the alpha-tester group to see Alpha testing at all. Flipping the switch also needs a paid Pliris plan or an active Guest Pass.

Add a chart on the song

Once the toggle is on, open the song. A Charts tab appears with the other bottom panels (MIDI cues, Lyrics, Chords, Notes).

  1. Open the song from your band's Songs library (or from a setlist).
  2. Click Charts.
  3. Drop a PDF or PNG, or click Choose file.

You can attach more than one. PDF and PNG only — anything else is rejected. Max 50 MB per file. Pliris keeps the original: no conversion, no in-app viewer, no page-turns. Download it into ForScore (or anywhere else) as the same file you dropped.

Adding and removing charts needs Manage arrangements (or admin). If you can edit the arrangement, you can manage its charts.

Who can download

Band members with Download files access can open the Charts tab and download the original PDF or PNG. Band admins and account admins can too.

View only members don't get the tab. That's on purpose — no locked chrome, no teaser.

Chart files vs ChordPro

Don't mix these up:

  • Chart files — a PDF or PNG you attach on the Charts tab. Alpha testers; off until you turn it on.
  • ChordPro chart — a generated lyrics-and-chords file from Download on the song. Always on. Not an attached file.

If you want the chart you already use in ForScore, that's Chart files. If you want Pliris to export chords and lyrics as ChordPro, that's Download.

Why don't I see a Charts tab on the song?

Either Chart files isn't turned on for this band under Settings → Alpha testing, you're not in the alpha-tester group, or your band access is view-only. There's no teaser tab when it's off.
