Building and Sharing a Setlist
Create a setlist, add and reorder songs, share it public or private, print it to PDF, and assign LTC timecode values.
A setlist puts your songs in order for a show — and then does the work you'd otherwise do by hand: share it with the band, print it for the music stand, and line up LTC timecode for the whole night.
Here's how to build one and get it into everyone's hands.
Create a setlist and add songs
- Go to your band's Setlists page.
- Click Create Setlist.
- Give it a name — the show, the date, the venue, whatever you'll recognize.
- Click Add Song and pick from your library.
- Keep adding until the whole set is in.
Pro tip: You can also add a song to a setlist from the song itself — click Setlist, then either drop it into an existing setlist or create a new one on the spot.
Reorder the set
Songs don't come in already in show order. Fix that:
- Drag and drop songs to put them in the exact order you're playing them.
The order you set here is the order everything else follows — the shared link, the printed sheet, and any Ableton export you build from the setlist.
Share it — public or private
Click Share to get the setlist to your team.
- Public link. Enable public sharing to generate a link anyone can open — no account, no login. They get a clean, read-only playback view: they can listen to reference audio, but they can't download your stems.
- Private / team-only. Keep it restricted so only your band members can see it.
Send the public link to crew, subs, or bandmates and they're looking at the same set you are, in the same order.
Pro tip: Public links aren't permanent if you don't want them to be. You can disable a link or set it to expire from the Share dialog anytime.
Print to PDF
For the music stand or the pedalboard:
- Open the setlist.
- Click Print in the toolbar.
- Choose your layout options — timing, notes, and what else to include.
- Download the PDF or print it directly.
Tape it to your pedalboard, hand it to the front-of-house engineer, keep a copy on the stand. Whatever works for the room.
Assign LTC timecode values
If you run timecode to sync lighting, backing tracks, or other gear, your setlist is where it comes together. Each arrangement can carry its own sync timecode, and once those are assigned, the whole set is timecode-ready.
If you followed the analyze-and-import flow, your LTC values may already be assigned for you. To generate the actual LTC audio, head to the LTC tools — see Sending LTC / SMPTE Timecode. From the Arrangement Browser you can search your library and download an LTC file already configured with the right start time, duration, and frame rate for each song.
Pro tip: Assigning LTC per arrangement is the fastest path to timecode for a full show. Set it once on the song and every setlist that includes it inherits the right values.
Frequently asked questions
Can someone view my shared setlist without a Pliris account?
Yes. Enabling public sharing on a setlist generates a link anyone can open with no account or login — they get a clean, read-only playback view where they can listen to reference audio but can't download your stems.
Can I disable or expire a public setlist link?
Yes. Public setlist links aren't permanent unless you want them to be — you can disable a link or set it to expire from the Share dialog at any time.
Can I add a song to a setlist without opening the setlist first?
Yes. From the song itself, click Setlist and either drop the song into an existing setlist or create a new one on the spot.
Do I have to assign LTC timecode separately for every setlist?
No. LTC sync timecode is assigned per arrangement, so once you set it on the song, every setlist that includes that song inherits the right values. See Sending LTC / SMPTE Timecode for generating the actual LTC audio.
