Drop Files, Analyze When Ready, Right-Click to Edit
Drop stems (upload starts immediately) or an Ableton project (Import to finish), optionally Analyze, then right-click to fix key, tempo, stems, and sections.
Getting a song into a programmed Ableton set is three moves: drop, optionally Analyze, then right-click on the song page when something needs a tweak. You do not pick stem groups in the uploader, and you do not hunt for an Edit button to change tempo or key.
Shipping note: Drop = upload is live. Right-click key/tempo/meter, stems, and sections is rolling out with a Bands update — if those menus are missing, use Edit → change → Done (LTC/Length still use Edit).
Drop → upload starts immediately
Open the arrangement, drop stems / a zip / an Ableton project on Drop files. Ordinary stem batches upload on drop — no Confirm / Upload button. Staging is status-only; groups are edited later on the song page. A single non-Ableton audio file may briefly offer Stem / Ref / LTC. Analyze when ready (credits)
Analyze defaults off. Turn it on while staging (or later) to extract tempo, beats, time signature, sections, stem grouping, key, chords, and lyrics at 20 credits per minute. Frequently asked questions
Do I pick stem groups when I upload?
No. Rename and regroup on the song page after drop (or let Analyze take a first pass).
Does every upload spend analysis credits?
No. Credits only when Analyze is on. Stem upload alone does not charge analysis.
How do I change tempo or key?
Right-click the Tempo or Key chip. If your build still shows Edit, use Edit → chip → Done for the same fields until right-click is fully rolled out.
