Renamed Band Links Still Work

Changing a band's name shouldn't break old shared links — slug redirects keep the previous URL working.

Renamed a band and worried every old link died? It shouldn't have.

When a band's name (and URL slug) changes, Pliris™ keeps a redirect from the old slug to the new one. Shared links, bookmarks, and setlist URLs that used the previous name should keep opening the right band.

  1. Open the link in a fresh tab (or hard-refresh).
  2. Confirm you're signed in with the account that has access to that band.
  3. If it still fails, send the exact URL to support — we'll check the redirect and fix it.

Hard-refresh or open it in a fresh tab, confirm you're signed in with an account that has access, and if it still fails send the exact URL to support so we can check the redirect.

Yes — setlist URLs that used the previous band slug should redirect with the band, same as other shared links. If a specific setlist URL 404s after a rename, send that URL to support.
