Supported Browsers for Pliris
Use Chrome or Edge for Pliris — especially for large Ableton set exports. Safari works for day-to-day use but cannot complete large set exports with samples.
Pliris™ runs in your browser. For day-to-day work — browsing songs, editing arrangements, building setlists — most modern browsers are fine.
For large Ableton set exports (especially Export Ableton → With samples), use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. That is the supported path.
Recommended: Chrome or Edge
Use the latest Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on desktop when you:
- Export a full setlist With samples (folder picker + large zip writes)
- Work with multi-GB show exports
- Use WebMIDI cues (Chrome and Edge support WebMIDI)
Chrome and Edge can complete the folder picker and write large project bundles that Safari cannot.
Safari
Safari is fine for signing in, listening, editing, and lighter exports. It is not reliable for large Ableton set exports with samples.
Safari hits a memory / folder-write limit on big set builds. Exports can fail or stop with a size / memory error. That is a browser limit, not a bad setlist.
What to do instead: open the same band in Chrome or Edge, then run Export Ableton → With samples there. Do not treat a thinner export preset or a server build as the Safari answer — for large full-sample set exports, switch browsers.

Which browser should I use for Pliris?
Use Chrome or Edge as your everyday Pliris browser if you export Ableton sets with samples. Safari can work for listening and editing, but it cannot complete large set exports with samples because of memory and folder-write limits.
Why does my Ableton export fail in Safari?
Large With samples exports need the browser to pick a folder and write a big zip. Safari often cannot finish that for large shows. Open Pliris in Chrome or Edge and export there instead.
Can I keep using Safari and just export a smaller Ableton file?
For a full show with stems, the supported fix is Chrome or Edge, not a thinner Safari workaround. Use Chrome or Edge for Export Ableton → With samples when the set is large.
Does Edge count the same as Chrome for exports?
Yes. Microsoft Edge on desktop uses the same kind of folder-write path Chrome does for large With samples exports. Either is recommended.
