Plans, Credits, and Billing

What the free tier includes, what a Pliris subscription unlocks, how analysis credits work, and where to manage your plan.

Pliris™ has two plans: a free tier that's genuinely useful, and a Pliris subscription that removes the caps and unlocks the pro tools. There's no trial to run out — the free tier is yours to keep for as long as you want it.

What the free tier includes

Sign up and you're on the free tier right away — no credit card. It's built to let you learn the workflow and run a small library end to end:

  • 1 band, up to 10 members
  • 15 songs total
  • 3 auto-analyze credits per month
  • Auto-analyze extracts sections, tempo, beats, time signature, and stems automatically
  • Manual mode, always available — type your own BPM, add sections from Ableton, and upload your own stems
  • 10 GB of storage
  • Export songs and full sets on the FS2S Intro template

Everything you need to build and run a real show. Uploading your own stems and the standalone LTC generator both work on the free tier — there's no subscription wall on core playback.

What Pliris All-Access unlocks

A Pliris subscription (All-Access) lifts every free-tier cap and turns on the full toolkit:

  • Unlimited bands, members, and songs
  • 35 auto-analyze credits per month
  • Auto-analyze adds key, chords, and lyrics on top of sections, tempo, beats, time signature, and stems
  • 1 TB of storage
  • All Set Builder templates — Intro, Standard, Pro, and Custom
  • Upload your own custom Ableton template
  • Full access to Playback Academy — masterclasses, guides, Coach, Ask, and member discounts

Auto-analyze credits

Auto-analyze is what turns raw stems into a programmed song automatically. Each run uses one credit.

  • Free accounts: 3 credits per month. Auto-analyze extracts sections, tempo, beats, time signature, and stems.
  • Paid accounts: 35 credits per month. Auto-analyze also extracts key, chords, and lyrics.

Manual mode is always available on any plan — type a BPM, add sections imported from Ableton, and upload your own stems, no credit required. A few more things worth knowing:

  • One credit covers one auto-analyze pass on a song.
  • Re-importing a .als to sync section edits back from Ableton is an import, not an analysis, so it does not cost a credit. Ignore any out-of-credits warning on that step.

Pro tip: Rename your stems before auto-analyze so Pliris routes each one to the right group. A clean pass the first time means you're not spending a second credit to fix a messy one.

Managing your subscription

Everything billing lives one click away:

  1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner.
  2. Select Subscription from the dropdown.
  3. Review your current plan, renewal date, payment method, and invoices.
  4. Click Manage billing to update payment, change plan, or cancel — all handled in the Stripe billing portal.

Which plan is right for you?

  • Just getting started, or running a small library? The free tier's 1 band, 15 songs, and Intro template may be all you need — and it's free to keep.
  • Running real shows — a bigger catalog, key/chords/lyrics from auto-analyze, the Standard/Pro/Custom Set Builder templates, and Playback Academy? That's a subscription. It removes every cap and unlocks the full toolkit in one move.

Frequently asked questions

Is Pliris free to use?

Yes — Pliris has a free tier you can sign up for without a credit card, and there's no trial to run out. It includes 1 band with up to 10 members, 15 songs, 3 auto-analyze credits per month, 10 GB of storage, and exports on the FS2S Intro template.

How many auto-analyze credits do I get each month?

Free accounts get 3 auto-analyze credits per month, and paid Pliris All-Access accounts get 35 per month. Each auto-analyze pass on a song uses one credit, and manual mode (typing a BPM, adding sections from Ableton, uploading your own stems) never costs a credit.

Does re-importing an Ableton .als file use a credit?

No — re-importing a .als to sync section edits back from Ableton is an import, not an analysis, so it doesn't cost an auto-analyze credit. You can ignore any out-of-credits warning on that step.

What does auto-analyze extract on a paid plan that the free tier doesn't?

On the free tier, auto-analyze extracts sections, tempo, beats, time signature, and stems. A Pliris subscription adds key, chords, and lyrics on top of those.

How do I cancel or change my Pliris subscription?

Click your avatar in the top-right corner, select Subscription from the dropdown, then click Manage billing — updating payment, changing plan, and canceling are all handled in the Stripe billing portal.
