How to fix Korg NanoKontrol2 Double Triggering Audio in Ableton Live

Using a Korg NanoKontrol2 with Ableton Live? You’ll run into an issue when you try and assign the play button to Play in Ableton Live. By default when you press play you’ll hear your audio trigger twice.

In this video, I show you how to quickly edit your Korg NanoKontrol2 with Korg’s Kontrol Editor to fix this problem. It’s also possible to put your NanoKontrol2 in Mackie Control mode and use the Mackie Control Surface remote script in Live, but I prefer to make my own custom MIDI mappings-not using
control scripts.
