Overview

In this course, we’ll discuss how to control Resolume Arena with Ableton Live. The allows you to keep your videos in perfect sync with your audio using LTC. We’ll discuss how to connect two machines using audio interfaces to send LTC from Ableton to Arena. We’ll discuss how to use a striped LTC track in Ableton Live to send arrangement location and data at all times to Resolume. We’ll discuss why you’ll likely want to also control Resolume with MIDI and how to connect your machines via MIDI. Finally we’ll look at 2 different approaches to using these programs in combination for your sets.
