In this course, we’ll discuss how to control ProPresenter with Ableton Live. ProPresenter is a lyric projection software that allows you to easily create lyrics and control them live. Think of it like “Keynote Plus”. It’s used primarily by churches to show the lyrics of the songs for the congregation to sing along. Even if you’re not a worship leader or musician in a church, it’s an incredibly useful software to know, for a lyric confidence monitor for an artist, keynote Plus for a corporate gig, or even simple playback. In this course we’ll discuss why and how to send MIDI notes from Ableton Live to control ProPresenter to create a flawless production, only do the work once, and have freedom and flexibility to jump around a song and have the lyrics follow.

I have a passion for helping artists and bands tell their story on stage with technology. I believe that the technology should disappear and get out of the way of creating music. You shouldn't feel restricted when you're using technology on stage, and I believe it shouldn't be difficult.
